
Version 1
Refreshing an IT company’s brand visuals to match their cutting edge expertise.
Version 1 is a IT Service Management company that had been beginning to feel as though its brand was not matching up to the cutting edge, global work that they were now doing. They required a refresh of the Version 1 brand to position the company for its next phase of growth. Version 1 wanted to elevate the brand to be premium, more dynamic, and more distinct. They wanted to instill a sense of excitement and confidence about the company.
Version 1 felt that their ‘Strength in Balance’ mantra, illustrated by the 3 triangles in their logo, was an important part of the company and set their brand apart from others. Therefore, we needed to explore ways that both this message can be presented more strongly in the newly energised brand.
The solutions to these issues can be seen in the brand launch video below. This video gave me scope to be creative within motion design with new design transitions, kinetic typography and building upon animation principles; such as anticipation.
